<Bonus Bosses tend to be. Julius was about as hard as Sephiroth, if you didn't have Balloon commands. I don't know why anybody founbd FFSephy to be hard... I kicked his ass, and I was technically UNDERLEVELED for that fight.>

Algol's sheer resilience and combat skills made an impression on me, when he took a Meteo to the face and kept going, only stopping when the building we were standing on got cut in half."

He bowed his head, shrugging. "It is to be noted that my power level can slide around on the scale depending on the seriousness of a situation, so I can either make the boss look like a joke, or have my ass kicked brutally, or have a diffuclt, drawn-out battle. It's all relative. Technically, I'm no stronger than the punching bag I was when I met everybody the first time. I'm just not disrespected as much now, for some reason. Maybe they just got tired of beating up on me."

Either way, Zeromus wasn't a badass, he was just really, really hard. Kinda like Dark Link in Zelda II. He's not necessarily a badass, he's just hard as f*ck...unless you crouch in the lower-left corner and stab at his shins repeatedly.>

<Yeah, I have the PSP version (and DS and GBA, but I lost that one. It sucked anyway). It kicks ass, disregard what that punk of GameFAQs kept saying about how the art style between the characters and background don't match up. Comes with The After Years, too. And Zeromus was never hard. I found him fairly easy. DS version, Twincast Cecil + Rosa would use Ultima, and with Limit Break, that would knock off half his HP. Instantly. Every other version, he's not all that tough of a boss. After all the times I got stuck on weaker bosses, reaching him, it was an epic fight, but it wasn't eally HARD, per se.>

Aleri shrugged. "I made it so that our feet have greater boyancy, and whatever liquid the bottoms of our feet touch temporarily gains density. So, standing in place will freeze the tide, or slow it down, but walking is awkward. ...That 'Soul Evisceration' attack was interesting, but I can't really be impressed when I can achieve the same thing with simple fire."

<The DS version, he's a complete ass. He spams the crap out of Whirlwind, and whenever I try to use Twincast, it always gives me Pyroblast. Which sucks. I really just spam the crap out of FocusX3-->Jump with Kain and abuse Ethers on Kain to recycle his Phoenix ability...The Augment system kicks ass. Edge spammed Throw Fuma Shuriken and Cecil...he attacked. Rydia spammed Stardust Rod (AKA Comet) and Rosa was on standard White Mage support.

Long story short, Whirlwind is a jerk, Phoenix ability kicks ass.>

<I find it aggravating how stupid everyone from before FFVII looks when Nomura draws them. It's like he's making fun of the previous artists...compare Cecil's sprite on the SNES to his model in the DS version, or in Dissidia. None of them look anything alike...>

Back then, they didn't want intriguing design and detail, they wanted a heroic archetype to save the day! ...Plus, the whole Dark-Knight-becomes-Paladin thing was enough on it's own to make Cecil a deep character. In Dissidia, they **** it up and overcomplicate it with "Darkness isn't bad, I use it as much as I use Light! Plus, in most cutscenes, I'm a Dark Knight.">

Several minutes of trekking later...

"You know, if we don't see the next island soon, we won't be able to use the island we started on as a landmark. You're positive we'll reach it soon?"

<Yep. I think "Darkness isn't bad" is starting to become more generic than "DARKNESS MUST BE SEALED AND DESTROYED". The only non-generic thing is to stay FAR THE HELL AWAY from Dark and Light. Why not have Fire be evil? Or maybe Wind? WHY IS IT ALWAYS DARK OR LIGHT?!>

As Lenox exited the dark corridor, he let go of Naxwsh's arm and began, " Apparently Diryax was lost at sea after a shipwreck. And since it seems the officials don't care to look anymore, you and I will." He turned on his heel surveying the horizon, they were at a port lined with boats and sailors walking back and forth all over. "First, let's see if we can find information about the boat she took and where it was headed."

Elsewhere, on an uncharted tropical island Diryax awoke on a straw mattress in the small mud hut she had been assigned by the island natives. Using her finger she made another notch in the sand in the corner where she had been counting the days, it had been 13 days since she arrived on this island. She thought back to her first day on the island. As she had been exploring, she stumbled upon a hunting trap of the natives and found herself hanging in a net for good few hours. Thankfully the natives were friendly enough towards her and treated her to all kinds of food. Although they still intimidated her due to their sheer size, the average one stood around eight feet tall. She only wished she could remember who she was or why she seemed unable to speak. As these thoughts filled her mind the native whose name she had learned was Anga led her out to the open where a wood table stood filled with food. Anga took a seat and forced Diryax to take one next to her, pointing at the food then her mouth signalling her to eat. Picking up what appeared to be the leg of some creature, Diryax warily took a bite of the meat and nervously began eating.
